A reporter for the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) has been mugged along with his crew by four thieves while reporting live from Johannesburg. The incident - caught on camera by the SABC crew - occurred while contributing editor Vuyo Mvoko was reporting live from Milpark Hospital in Johannesburg on Tuesday night (10 March, 2015). The report was to cover the arrival of Zambian President Edgar Lungu in South Africa, allegedly for surgery. It is believed that Vuyo Mvoko and his crew were approached by four men who demanded the broadcasting equipment as well as cellphones and laptops, SABC said. According to Reuters Africa, one of the men was armed. The footage shows only two of the alleged four thieves approaching the crew and telling them to hand over their equipment. Mv...

It may seem like an easy thing to do, but LG assured us that it’s actually difficult to screw in all the screws in a matter of seconds.

And I am also aware of the government's short comings. This video is not about that nor is it to negate the problems that exist. I wanted to highlight some of South Afrika's other features. Travel video about destination South-Africa. Johannesburg is the commercial centre of South Africa. Since gold was first discovered there, everything has revolved around money and from the 50th floor of Africa’s tallest building, The Carlton Towers, there is an all-engulfing view of the city’s narrow streets and jungle of concrete and glass. The African Museum is a contemporary building and one of South Africa’s most exquisite landmarks, it contains a large variety of geological exhibits and detailed accounts of the city’s past surface mining that gave rise to the country’s massive gold rush. The resistance to apartheid is also illustrated, as well as the history of Africa’s native inhabitants who journeyed from present day Botswana to the south of the country. Clare is a lawyer from South Africa, who works for a geographical information systems firm. We begin by discussing Clare’s background and upbringing. Having grown up during apartheid, Clare witnessed firsthand the dramatic effects that followed its abolition. She tells us that the stories of White-on-black violence during apartheid are largely exaggerated, and that most violence in South Africa was, and continues to be, black-on-black. Clare describes how her misgivings with multiculturalism and equality began once she realized that affirmative action was something indefinite, rather than temporary. We discuss how an unofficial apartheid continues to exist in South Africa; in fact, racial integration only occurs through direct government interference. This, of course, reveals an important...
